This is an amazing, easy to read book with lots of good science behind it. Ali is a pathologist (blood specialist) and has performed over 20,000 tests using the High Resolution Bradford microscope.  The Bradford (dark field) magnifies 12,000 times while conventional microscopes magnify 400 times. At 12,000 X You can learn a lot about blood that most others do no know about.  

He presents an  excellent theoretical framework for the importance of oxygen and how a deficiency of oxygen at the cellular level contributes to chronic  illness.

The modern medical world has the technology to be incredible healers of almost every disease; if they would just use that technology properly. My guess is that only 1 percent do. Dr. Ali is one of those one percent. To me he is a doctor’s doctor. 

A brilliant, funny but no nonsense first class professional with 50 years of studying medicine. Why would you want to exercise with O2?

German researchers have recognized for decades the dramatic value of exercising while breathing air with enriched oxygen (90% purity and higher). But you don’t have to be a doctor to know that oxygen is our most important element for life. Wellness is totally dependant up on it. In so far as body function is concerned if you don’t use it you lose it so any activity increases the human body’s need for oxygen. So we exercise with extra oxygen and whoopie!! How are we getting more oxygen by increasing the level we breathe normally?
Normally, a red blood cell carries no more than 97% oxygen. Many will argue that you cannot force another 3% into the cell. This is true. However, additional oxygen is absorbed by the plasma (which carries the red and white blood cells) and is then pushed into the  body’s cells without the aid of the red cells. This is called the Law of Mass Action. Very little oxygen actually gets through, but if you are consistently feeding your body the extra oxygen, there will be an extensive increase in your total tissue oxygen level. The goal is to keep the oxygen level of your blood as close as you can to 100 percent. We show you how to get an inexpensive instrument to measure that when you get one of our units.

All unhealthy germs and bacteria are weakened or killed with oxygen. Healthy bacteria are strengthened by extra oxygen. If one is suffering from headaches, hangover, migraine, stress, fatigue, cramps, jet lag, heat exhaustion, or minor aches and pains, oxygen can provide almost immediate relief.  On a longer term basis, oxygen helps strengthen cells, flush toxins and impurities out of ones blood, possibly preventing cancer from gaining a foothold as well as reduce the effects of mold. Consistent strenuous exercise requires a great deal of oxygen. Your body burns the existing oxygen in your red blood cells, regardless of how much you are breathing in. You are using more oxygen than you are taking in.. Your oxygen levels (PO2art), measured in millimeters of mercury, should be between 95 and 100 depending on your age. Though prescriptions are certainly honored O2E2 is not a “therapy” for “sick” people and therefore does not need FDA approval.  Oxygen is not a drug. No medical claims are made and all of the equipment is sold for recreational use. However, Manfred Von Ardenne in his landmark Oxygen Multistep Therapy  states that oxygen enhancement will open “ways which often prevent illness by the prompt elimination of their cause (energy deficiency.”).

    People today are more health conscience than ever. Men and women have always used the gym as a social venue as well as a fitness venue, but many of these people that used to belong to gyms now find it easier and more time and gas saving to work out at home with store bought equipment.

    The method used for this is a process called pressure swing arm absorption. Air is pulled into the machine by means of a compressor, forced through cylinders or magazines that contain zeolite (a volcanic mineral that absorbs nitrogen) and forces the oxygen into a product tank that is then fed to the outlet nozzle and to the person wanting more oxygen.

    Supplemental Oxygen is not flammable or explosive. There is much confusion on the dangers of compressed oxygen. Here are the facts:

    -Oxygen is an accelerator, not flammable (this means that if oxygen is flowing into a fire it will help it grow faster)

    -Oxygen is not explosive; The compressed cylinders of medical oxygen devices can act like rockets if the valve is broken off, which rarely happens; this is because of the high pressure (3000 psi) in these medical tanks.

    There are several manufacturers of oxygen concentrators and all of those machines follow the basic design concept described above. They are rebuilt to last 25,000 hours.

    One can be fitted with a valving device that will allow it to fill small oxygen tanks when used in conjunction with a home fill unit. But the adaptor is quite expensive in the $1,000 – $1,500 range  and not needed for home or mobile home EWOT usage. This model must be ordered by phone with a slight extra charge.

    Our minimum standards require they last over 25,000 hours. Based on average usage from 30 minutes to 120 minutes daily my best guess is they will probably outlive most buyers. Some are putting them in their wills as an estate item.

    We do not recommend daily use of oxygen more than 120 minutes a day for recreation purposes. One health professional colleague is recommending 2 hours per day for cases of extra chemical sensitive people or carbon monoxide poisoning and he tells me most are no longer chemically sensitive after 3-4 months of that 2 hour daily session.

    So I am hard pressed to worry too much about 120 minutes.  Integrating it with moderate exercise for relatively short periods of time is to us state of the art. One study in Canada has shown that using a rebounder for 30 minutes a day while breathing the oxygen from one of these units is like being on it the full 24 hours a day.

Exercise with Oxygen Therapy
Basically, the body’s ability to transfer oxygen from the lungs to the cells is perhaps the most significant factor in whether you live a healthy life or not. This transfer mechanism becomes damaged with age, and then susceptibility to illness increases. However, EWOT aids the body in repairing this vital mechanism.
The scientific aspect of EWOT is a little complex, but here is a basic explanation. Oxygen comprises 20% of the atmosphere. Atmospheric pressure is 760 mm and thus the partial pressure of oxygen entering the body’s lungs is about 150 mm. However, oxygen in the lungs is diluted considerably with carbon dioxide. As the environment becomes increasingly polluted, the oxygen we intake is more and more diluted by carbon dioxide leaving the body and in the atmosphere. After oxygen is diluted, its pressure is reduced to 100-110 mm. This pressure drives the oxygen from the lungs into the blood and via the arteries to the capillaries in the extremities of the body. The capillaries then release some of the oxygen to support individual cells.
Ideally, the pressure of the oxygen in the arteries will almost equal the pressure in the lungs. However, aging causes the arterial pressure to decrease to approximately 70 mm as opposed to 95 mm.
In order for the oxygen to reach the cells from the capillaries, it must dissolve into the water of the body. Unlike carbon dioxide, though, oxygen does not dissolve easily into liquid. The significance is this: Oxygen’s solubility is heavily dependent on the pressure driving it.
Dr. Rowen of Second Opinion explains Oxygen is extracted in the capillaries and when the blood comes out the venous end of he capillary, the average pressure of oxygen in the veins is about 40 mm early in life and drops to 35 mm by age 70. The difference in the pressure of oxygen between the arterial and venous sides reflects how well the oxygen is delivered and consumed.
In your 30s, the amount of oxygen released to the cells is significantly higher than in your 70s: a 30 year-old will release 55 mm (95-40) while a 70 year-old will release 35 mm (70-35). That’s a huge drop in the amount of pressure of oxygen your cells receive.
The problem is that when you age, the oxygen pressure falls. Thus, while the volume of oxygen may stay the same and it may appear you are getting enough, your may be oxygen deficient because there isn’t enough pressure to make use of the volume of oxygen.
The breakthrough of EWOT is that it raises the arterial pressure to youthful levels; it only involves breathing high levels of oxygen while exercising. Exercise increases the circulation, creating a greater pressure to drive oxygen into the capillaries. The increase in pressure facilitates the repair of the transfer mechanism. EWOT is effective for every conceivable condition because it improves the delivery of the most essential substance in tissue life and repair.

Adequate tissue oxygenation is essential for healing. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) has potential clinical applications to treat ischemic pathologies, however the exact nature of any protective effects are unclear at present. We therefore investigated the potential role of HBOT in modulating the ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury response in intestinal model of I/R injury.


Male Wistar rats were subjected to surgery for the induction of intestinal ischemia followed by reperfusion. HBOT was provided before and/or after intestinal ischemia. Cell viability in the intestinal tissue was assessed using the MTT assay and by measuring serum malondealdehyde (MDA). Microvascular density and apoptosis were evaluated by immunohistochemistry.


The results indicate that HBOT treatment pre- and post-ischemia reduces lesion size to the intestinal tissue. This treatment increases cell viability and reduces the activation of caspase-3, which is associated with increased number of tissue CD34 cells and enhanced VEGF expression.


The hyperbaric oxygen therapy can limit tissue damage due to ischemia/reperfusion injury, by inducing reparative signaling pathways.

Stay Healthier Longer

You exercise while breathing Oxygen Enriched Air form your Personal Portable Oxygen Bar. You can use a treadmill, a stationary bicycle, a UBE (Upper Body Ergometer/bicycle), light weights to do easy bicep curls, easy crunches, cross crawl exercises, etc.

If you are in pretty good shape, meaning your joints are healthy, you do not suffer from heart disease, you don’t have any other obvious health problems – you may want to start with a stationary bicycle. This is obviously not about setting speed records. Start easy, maybe at two miles per hour (your speed is registered on your speedometer).
