Oxygen and Aging

Oxygen Protocol for the Treatment of Cancer

Ethics in medicine—truth and integrity in the work of practitioners—has been endemically and perniciously compromised by the “Medical-Industrial Complex (the “Complex”), which, in 2008, controlled the $2.4 trillion disease- maintenance system in the U.S. There is no end in sight for the deepening health care crisis with the prevailing medical model—Americans continue to become sicker as enormous sums are stolen from them by the Complex. ” Majid ALi, MD Newsletter.

Why would you want to exercise with O2?

EASY TO UNDERSTAND
German researchers have recognized for decades the dramatic value of exercising while breathing air with enriched oxygen (90% purity and higher). But you don’t have to be a doctor to know that oxygen is our most important element for life. Wellness is totally dependant up on it. In so far as body function is concerned if you don’t use it you lose it so any activity increases the human body’s need for oxygen. So we exercise with extra oxygen and whoopie!! Just a 30-60 minute session on our home model oxygen bar displaces harmful free radicals, neutralizes environmental toxins, and destroys anaerobic infectious bacteria, parasites, and microbes. Not to mention all the cellular repair you get.

Oxygen enhances the body’s ability to rebuild itself, detoxify blood, and strengthen the immune system.  It will heighten your concentration, memory and alertness, sometimes in minutes.

How are we getting more oxygen by increasing the level we breathe normally?
Normally, a red blood cell carries no more than 97% oxygen. Many will argue that you cannot force another 3% into the cell. This is true. However, additional oxygen is absorbed by the plasma (which carries the red and white blood cells) and is then pushed into the  body’s cells without the aid of the red cells. This is called the Law of Mass Action. Very little oxygen actually gets through, but if you are consistently feeding your body the extra oxygen, there will be an extensive increase in your total tissue oxygen level. The goal is to keep the oxygen level of your blood as close as you can to 100 percent. We show you how to get an inexpensive instrument to measure that when you get one of our units.

HEALTHY O2
All unhealthy germs and bacteria are weakened or killed with oxygen. Healthy bacteria are strengthened by extra oxygen. If one is suffering from headaches, hangover, migraine, stress, fatigue, cramps, jet lag, heat exhaustion, or minor aches and pains, oxygen can provide almost immediate relief.  On a longer term basis, oxygen helps strengthen cells, flush toxins and impurities out of ones blood, possibly preventing cancer from gaining a foothold as well as reduce the effects of mold. Also, if one has minor sprains or injuries, oxygen can promote the healing of these injuries resulting in faster healing times.

From Majid ALi, MD
Oxygen deficit directly increases free radical activity. Every element that causes excess acidity in body tissues increases free radical activity. Every element that increases the fluidity (viscosity) of blood, lymph, and other fluids of the body also increases free radical activity. For professional readers, I present detailed scientific explanations of these relationships in Darwin and Dysox Trilogy, the tenth, eleventh, and twelfth volumes of The Principles and Practice of Integrative Medicine.

EXERCISE BENEFITS GREATLY ENHANCED
I have been using mine with a rebounder and I find that I work at my job for longer stretches of time without crashing.  I did 25 pushups last night! The last 3 or 4 I could really tell something was different. I feel that using the oxygen is making my body stronger and function more as it was intended.” Maya S.

Consistent strenuous exercise requires a great deal of oxygen. Your body burns the existing oxygen in your red blood cells, regardless of how much you are breathing in. You are using more oxygen than you are taking in.. Your oxygen levels (PO2art), measured in millimeters of mercury, should be between 95 and 100 depending on your age. Many doctors will advise that your low score “… is normal for your age.” It’s true that it’s normal, but it’s only normal because 99% of people don’t know that it doesn’t have to be low and you can keep it high where we believe it belongs! It is the single easiest step you can take to help prevent cancer, premature aging, illness, and more.  Walk into any gym… see all the people breathing hard, straining their muscles, and sweating?  Ok, so they’re burning calories and building muscle, which may or may  not be helpful as many over train and many are not aware they may be aging themselves at a greater rate and increasing the opportunity for many illnesses even including certain cancers.

“Holding our breath during the conscious state is no different from the problem of sleep apnea with episodes of not breathing–except for the fact that the highest consumption of oxygen occurs during REM sleep as we noted above and sleep time is therefore the time when we can least afford a cessation of breathing.” So You Didn’t Go To Medical School. Read this. Joseph L  Borkson, MD

According to scientists, extra oxygen along with a cleansing diet can return balance to the body.” –Elizabeth Baker, The Unmedical Miracle: Oxygen.

WELLNESS/ILLNESS  PREVENTION PROGRAMS-
VERSUS PRESCRIPTIONS
Though prescriptions are certainly honored O2E2 is not a “therapy” for “sick” people and therefore does not need FDA approval.  Oxygen is not a drug. No medical claims are made and all of the equipment is sold for recreational use. However, Manfred Von Ardenne in his landmark Oxygen Multistep Therapy  states that oxygen enhancement will open “ways which often prevent illness by the prompt elimination of their cause (energy deficiency.”).

If you are seriously ill and you feel oxygen will help then we prefer you go to your MD and get a prescription for a unit. This will also help you get re-imbursed from your insurance company. If you buy one from us your insurance company will most likely not re-emburse you without a prescription.

  •  WEIGHT LOSS APPLICATIONS?
Oxygen burns fat. It also enhances the benefits of exercise.
Once you’ve bought one we send  you some of the other ways we use the units and how we measure progress aside from increased energy, mental clarity etc.  more about why I like my oxygen concentrator

    CONVENIENT
People today are more health conscience than ever. Men and women have always used the gym as a social venue as well as a fitness venue, but many of these people that used to belong to gyms now find it easier and more time and gas saving to work out at home with store bought equipment.

    ECONOMICAL and Unlimited supply.
Create your very own home oxygen bar.  Save the one dollar per minute usually charged at commercial oxygen bar locations. Your O2E2 will pay for itself in a few weeks of usage.  No bottle needed. It will  never run out of O2. We supply a 25 foot long tube PLUS a thin plastic hose you connect to the unit and insert in your nostrils or mouth.

    HOW DO THEY WORK?

The method used for this is a process called pressure swing arm absorption. Air is pulled into the machine by means of a compressor, forced through cylinders or magazines that contain zeolite (a volcanic mineral that absorbs nitrogen) and forces the oxygen into a product tank that is then fed to the outlet nozzle and to the person wanting more oxygen.

    IS SUPPLEMENTAL OXYGEN DANGEROUS?
Supplemental Oxygen is not flammable or explosive. There is much confusion on the dangers of compressed oxygen. Here are the facts:

-Oxygen is an accelerator, not flammable (this means that if oxygen is flowing into a fire it will help it grow faster)

-Oxygen is not explosive; The compressed cylinders of medical oxygen devices can act like rockets if the valve is broken off, which rarely happens; this is because of the high pressure (3000 psi) in these medical tanks.

    MANUFACTURERS
There are several manufacturers of oxygen concentrators and all of those machines follow the basic design concept described above. They are rebuilt to last 25,000 hours.

One can be fitted with a valving device that will allow it to fill small oxygen tanks when used in conjunction with a home fill unit. But the adaptor is quite expensive in the $1,000 – $1,500 range  and not needed for home or mobile home EWOT usage. This model must be ordered by phone with a slight extra charge.

    BUILT TO LAST
Our minimum standards require they last over 25,000 hours. Based on average usage from 30 minutes to 120 minutes daily my best guess is they will probably outlive most buyers. Some are putting them in their wills as an estate item.

    TOO MUCH OXYGEN?
“Intermittent exposure to higher oxygen with many hours of “normoxic” breathing between the higher exposures has not resulted in pulmonary oxygen toxicity. Many have reported improved function with intermittent oxygen especially when done with exercise. So, as with any food, supplement, or medication, oxygen needs to be taken carefully, in moderation and with consideration of all the variables affecting your personal health.”  Dr. Danielle Rose

We do not recommend daily use of oxygen more than 120 minutes a day for recreation purposes. One health professional colleague is recommending 2 hours per day for cases of extra chemical sensitive people or carbon monoxide poisoning and he tells me most are no longer chemically sensitive after 3-4 months of that 2 hour daily session.

So I am hard pressed to worry too much about 120 minutes.  Integrating it with moderate exercise for relatively short periods of time is to us state of the art. One study in Canada has shown that using a rebounder for 30 minutes a day while breathing the oxygen from one of these units is like being on it the full 24 hours a day.

    ADDICTION TO OXYGEN

    MOISTURIZER
Oxygen by itself is dry and sessions as with using the bottled oxygen alone  can dry ones nasal passages. Our units come with a water bottle that moisturizes the O2.

    MEASURING BLOOD OXYGEN.
Included  in one of our education oriented email auto responders that you receive after purchase is a link to a source for pulse oximeters at $64.00 each. The best price I have seen. I have the exact one. 8 years ago i paid $500.00 for my other one. They perform exactly alike.

    UNDERSTANDING OXIDATION

    ACCESSORIES
They come with a water bottle (optional usage) to moisten the air you breathe, a 50 foot hose to connect to the bottle, one canula (the hose that the goes over your ears and connects to the tube coming out of the water bottle or directly from the oxygen unit).
In the shopping cart is an optional 14, 25, 50 foot hose, 12, 25 and 50 cannula, CPAP adaptor and mask. We recommend against the “mask” option for high intensity running/breathing as many will not get enough air to breathe with while exercising.

    FULL WARRANTY

They have a one year warranty (refurbished) and 5 year (new)
They are built to last most often outlast the user because they do not use them 24/7 like the lung disease folk do.

    MODERN TECHNOLOGY
The units are equipped with on board computers to insure perfect running at all times.

    MORE BENEFITS OF OXYGEN:

When oxygen levels are increased, the red blood cells pick up the extra oxygen, and provide it to our body tissues. Waste gases and toxins are removed more efficiently and cells begin to function normally.

Anaerobic viruses, bacteria and fungi, unable to live in an oxygen – enriched environment, are compromised. Oxygen builds resistance to infections like yeast (candida albicans) that thrive in an oxygen deficient environment. Oxygen helps to neutralize acids in our body, like lactic acid resulting from muscle overload. Our body’s chemical reactions are “fired-up” due to the increased oxygen levels. We burn fat more efficiently.  Sleep often improves even at altitude. We feel better, our body is healthier and we think more clearly because of increased oxygenation.

Here is a recent and really tough one that was helped with EWOT.
Ref: Nguyen, Q.D., et al. “Supplemental Oxygen Improves Diabetic Macular Edema: A Pilot Study,” Investigative Ophthalmology & Visual Science, February 2004, vol. 45, no. 2, pages 617-624

Here are more benefits discovered by extensive research:

    * Removes free radicals

    * Reduces tissue swelling

    * Increases neuronal energy metabolism in the brain

    * Can create sustained cognitive improvement

    * Wakes up sleeping (idling) brain cells that are metabolizing enough to stay alive but are not actively “firing”.

    * Enhances the body’s ability to fight bacterial and viral infections

    * Deactivates toxins and poisons (e.g. side effects from some chemotherapy, spider bites, air pollution, etc.)

    * Enhances wound healing (stimulates new capillaries into wounds).

    * Creates an immediate aerobic state

    * Acts as an anti-inflammatory

Why Do We Use Enhanced Air (Oxygen) With Our Treatment Program?

Why Do We Use Enhanced Air (Oxygen)
With Our Treatment Program?
Your brain and nervous system need two things to survive: fuel and activation. Fuel comes in the form of glucose and oxygen. You get the glucose from the food you eat BUT as you age, your ability to utilize oxygen decreases. We are giving you oxygen to help you heal faster. We want to get you better as fast as possible.
PLUS…….The cerebellum is in the back part of your brain and it controls ALL of your spinal musculature as well as your balance and coordinated movement. When the cerebellum is not firing correctly, the muscles will spasm, the vertebra lock up and the disc will lose fluid and degenerate. When we get the cerebellum firing better, the spinal muscles will no longer be in spasm, the vertebra will move better and your disc will re-generate.
Do you remember those tests that we did to check your cerebellum (finger to nose, standing with eyes closed and feet close together, playing piano, touching your finger that is over your head, etc.)? The cerebellum is the most DEPENDENT area of the body when it comes to oxygen. So that is why we are giving you oxygen, to get you better faster by allowing your cerebellum to work better!
Is oxygen essential for brain activity?
The brain demands at least 20% of the body’s oxygen supply, when it doesn’t get this supply it can lead to issues such as sleep apnoea, poor concentration, forgetfulness, mood swings, restlessness, depressive thoughts and low drive.
Brain activity – Dr. Andrew Scholey, Division of Psychology, University of Northumbria: “Extra oxygen has been shown to enhance mental performance and memory recall in healthy active adults in several clinical studies”. Ref. Pmid: 10604851 (pubmed – indexed for medline)
Other Benefits:
STAY STRONG.
Fatigue has been reported by several studies as one of the most common symptoms experienced by people worldwide*.
*”Boosting Your Energy” A Special Health Report from Harvard Medical School, Harvard Health Publications, 2006
Every breath you take converts to energy. Human cells use nutrients from food and oxygen to create adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the energy source that fuels cell function. If your cells receive too little oxygen, they produce less energy. If your cells need more energy, they use more oxygen. That’s why your breathing rate increases when you exercise.
STAY ALERT.
Unlike muscles, your brain cannot store energy. It needs a steady flow of nutrients and oxygen to function normally. Oxygen deficiency can decrease your alertness, memory and judgment. Conditions that can reduce blood oxygen levels include:
air pollution
traveling to a higher elevation
breathing stale air that has less than the normal 20-21% oxygen.
“Insufficient oxygen means insufficient biological energy that can result in anything from mild fatigue to life threatening disease. The link between insufficient oxygen and disease has now been firmly established.” Dr. W. Spencer Way, journal of the American association of physicians
What are the main benefits of using oxygen?
Studies have shown that oxygen helps:
Stimulate brain activity
Increase memory capacity
Boost concentration
Develop stronger alertness
Raise energy levels
Improve strength
Build endurance
Detox your blood
Reduce stress
Calm anxiety
Alleviate tension headaches
Remedy irregular sleeping patterns
Help with cardiovascular activity
Prevent lactic acid build up
Strengthen the immune system
Medical Thoughts on Oxygen
“Extra oxygen enables you to recover more quickly from exertion. It allows someone to train and then exercise again.” – Dr. John Brewer, head of sports science at Lilleshall Human Performance Centre: Health and Fitness 1999.
“Oxygen can clear your head, help eliminate toxins, and give you a mind high” – Andy Davison exercise physiologist Cosmopolitan 2000.
“If you use oxygen for 20 minutes, muscles become loosened; headaches and stress seem to disappear. There is a renewed energy and a feeling of relaxation. I am confident oxygen works.” – Dr. Richard de Andrea Sunday Herald.
“Increases alertness, improves the body’s ability to burn fat and enhances physical performance.” – Howard Robbins D.P.M, for The Journal.
“Dr. Parris Kidd stated that ‘oxygen plays a pivotal role in the proper functioning of the immune system; i.e. Resistance to disease, bacteria and viruses.’ Dr. Stephen Levine stated that ‘we can look at oxygen deficiency as the single greatest cause of disease.’ thus the development of a shortage of oxygen in the blood could very well be the starting point for the loss of the immune system and the beginning of feared health problems such as Cancer, Leukemia, AIDS, Candida, seizures, and nerve deterioration.” B. Goulet – The Magic of Aerobic Oxygen – Focus on Nutrition.
“In all serious disease states we find a concomitant low oxygen state…low oxygen in the body tissues is a sure indicator for disease… Hypoxia, or lack of oxygen in the tissues, is the fundamental cause for all degenerative disease.” Dr. Stephen Levine, renowned molecular biologist author, Oxygen Deficiency: A concomitant to all degenerative illness.
“I have ME and Fabro-Myalgia and have suffered with this debilitating condition for more than twelve years. I saw an oxygen bar at a health event and needed to sit down and by chance tried the oxygen. After this for four days I felt so active, had no pain, no fatigue, and no exhaustion and even managed to clean my house out. I made frequent trips in my car to the tip and charity shop of which I am normally unable do. I even went out for a meal and went shopping which I’ve never been able to do.” Carol Mason from Patmoor, Staffordshire.
Exercise with Oxygen Therapy
Basically, the body’s ability to transfer oxygen from the lungs to the cells is perhaps the most significant factor in whether you live a healthy life or not. This transfer mechanism becomes damaged with age, and then susceptibility to illness increases. However, EWOT aids the body in repairing this vital mechanism.
The scientific aspect of EWOT is a little complex, but here is a basic explanation. Oxygen comprises 20% of the atmosphere. Atmospheric pressure is 760 mm and thus the partial pressure of oxygen entering the body’s lungs is about 150 mm. However, oxygen in the lungs is diluted considerably with carbon dioxide. As the environment becomes increasingly polluted, the oxygen we intake is more and more diluted by carbon dioxide leaving the body and in the atmosphere. After oxygen is diluted, its pressure is reduced to 100-110 mm. This pressure drives the oxygen from the lungs into the blood and via the arteries to the capillaries in the extremities of the body. The capillaries then release some of the oxygen to support individual cells.
Ideally, the pressure of the oxygen in the arteries will almost equal the pressure in the lungs. However, aging causes the arterial pressure to decrease to approximately 70 mm as opposed to 95 mm.
In order for the oxygen to reach the cells from the capillaries, it must dissolve into the water of the body. Unlike carbon dioxide, though, oxygen does not dissolve easily into liquid. The significance is this: Oxygen’s solubility is heavily dependent on the pressure driving it.
Dr. Rowen of Second Opinion explains Oxygen is extracted in the capillaries and when the blood comes out the venous end of he capillary, the average pressure of oxygen in the veins is about 40 mm early in life and drops to 35 mm by age 70. The difference in the pressure of oxygen between the arterial and venous sides reflects how well the oxygen is delivered and consumed.
In your 30s, the amount of oxygen released to the cells is significantly higher than in your 70s: a 30 year-old will release 55 mm (95-40) while a 70 year-old will release 35 mm (70-35). That’s a huge drop in the amount of pressure of oxygen your cells receive.
The problem is that when you age, the oxygen pressure falls. Thus, while the volume of oxygen may stay the same and it may appear you are getting enough, your may be oxygen deficient because there isn’t enough pressure to make use of the volume of oxygen.
The breakthrough of EWOT is that it raises the arterial pressure to youthful levels; it only involves breathing high levels of oxygen while exercising. Exercise increases the circulation, creating a greater pressure to drive oxygen into the capillaries. The increase in pressure facilitates the repair of the transfer mechanism. EWOT is effective for every conceivable condition because it improves the delivery of the most essential substance in tissue life and repair.

Effect of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on the intestinal ischemia reperfusion injury.

Effect of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on the intestinal ischemia reperfusion injury.

Source

Department of Surgery and Anatomy, FMRP, USP, Ribeirao Preto, SP, Brazil.

Abstract

PURPOSE:

Adequate tissue oxygenation is essential for healing. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) has potential clinical applications to treat ischemic pathologies, however the exact nature of any protective effects are unclear at present. We therefore investigated the potential role of HBOT in modulating the ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury response in intestinal model of I/R injury.

METHODS:

Male Wistar rats were subjected to surgery for the induction of intestinal ischemia followed by reperfusion. HBOT was provided before and/or after intestinal ischemia. Cell viability in the intestinal tissue was assessed using the MTT assay and by measuring serum malondealdehyde (MDA). Microvascular density and apoptosis were evaluated by immunohistochemistry.

RESULTS:

The results indicate that HBOT treatment pre- and post-ischemia reduces lesion size to the intestinal tissue. This treatment increases cell viability and reduces the activation of caspase-3, which is associated with increased number of tissue CD34 cells and enhanced VEGF expression.

CONCLUSION:

The hyperbaric oxygen therapy can limit tissue damage due to ischemia/reperfusion injury, by inducing reparative signaling pathways.

Many experts believe EWOT to be be better than Hyperbaric oxygen and much less expensive. O2Exercise supplies all of you needs for equipment and training.

Get stronger, Live Longer, Look Better.

Exercise with Oxygen Therapy is more than just therapy.

Sure, it started out as a way to extend the time for the elderly and the recuperating to do their exercies and rehabilitation, but did you know? EWOT can also help you workout less for more results, increase your speed and even lose weight faster.

More benefits of EWOT are being discovered as more people are using it.

Lose weight faster because you can workout longer without fatigue. Build muscle faster and increase stamina faster because you don’t “run out of breath”. Think you are too old to exercise? Not with this method of oxygenation. Want to find that perfect butt you had in college? We know where it is.

Athletes are discovering the benefits of building stamina and speed with EWOT to improve their performance on the field, in the pool, and on the track. EWOT works like a performance enhancing substance, and it is. The ingredients are oxygen (lots of it) and exercise. And its FREE.

Check out my new video on Oxygen Contrast Training.

Stay Healthier Longer

EWOT – the best Anti-Aging training you can do – in the comfort of your own home. It is simple and affordable. Do this for at least 15-30 minutes, daily, for the rest of your life.

You exercise while breathing Oxygen Enriched Air form your Personal Portable Oxygen Bar. You can use a treadmill, a stationary bicycle, a UBE (Upper Body Ergometer/bicycle), light weights to do easy bicep curls, easy crunches, cross crawl exercises, etc.

If you are in pretty good shape, meaning your joints are healthy, you do not suffer from heart disease, you don’t have any other obvious health problems – you may want to start with a stationary bicycle. This is obviously not about setting speed records. Start easy, maybe at two miles per hour (your speed is registered on your speedometer).

It is always a good idea to wear a heart rate monitor (different styles and types available at sporting goods stores). If your pulse gets over 130, slow down or stop for a few minutes.
